About the event

On October 31st, 2024, the Student Council invites you to an engaging online lecture on "Intercultural Psychotherapy." The lecture will be presented by the ZEBRA Association, which has been dedicated for many years to promoting intercultural understanding and providing psychological support to people with migration and refugee backgrounds.

Intercultural Psychotherapy addresses the unique challenges that arise when treating individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Cultural differences, migration experiences, and language barriers play a central role and can significantly influence therapeutic work. This form of therapy considers the patients' individual cultural identities and integrates them into the therapeutic process to ensure effective and respectful treatment.

The ZEBRA Association, which will be conducting the lecture, is a longstanding player in the field of intercultural psychotherapy, offering comprehensive counseling and therapy services that respect and incorporate cultural and linguistic differences into the therapy process.

Learn more about the challenges and opportunities in intercultural psychotherapy and how these approaches can better support people in difficult life situations.
